Everett Rd. Construction
Everett Rd. Construction:This one is difficult to understand. Yes, Everett road between Albany-Shaker and Sand Creek drives like the Ho Chi Minh trail. Yes, they could use some sidewalks there. And yes, Beff's has probably doubled the traffic there in the last year. But why on Earth are they changing the entire intersection down at Everett and Sand Creek?
For god's sake, they are adding additional lanes and an entire new island. Last time i checked, that light was never backed up. And i've never seen anyone head down the part of sand creek there that goes away from wolf road. Where does it go? It goes and loops around the neighborhood and comes out 1/4 mile down on Everett again. Huh?
Anyway, someone is getting rich off this one. And it's not me.
