New liquor notes...

The Supreme Court has overturned New York's ban on direct ordering of wine from other states. It is now legal to buy California wine off the internet and have it shipped to New York.

Also, the former Cadalso Liquor in Newton Plaza in Newtonville will be reopening later this week as Newton Wine and Spirits. I toured the building last week, and it's an impressives shop in the mold of other recently opened high-quality liquor stores.
